then 6 months we renew the plan, the payment was ok, and 10 days after our site again suspended because they don’t have our payment, its incredible that they don’t have any idea of customer service or even a process to notify from one department to another that a renew payment was made, even if a confirmation email was send to us with the payment confirmation.
Now, I want to start hosting client brochure” sites – low monthly cost – and I do want to separate email hosting from website hosting — so why can’t I just purchase another hosting plan from my hosting company and run email-only accounts there? I could probably run 100 email accounts on a single $30/month plan this way. So, same hosting company but on different physical server. Two other issues are that I cannot display an XML page, specifically GenealogyJ simple tree; and the site times out while uploading 100’s of small htmls. I sometimes have to retry uploading 4-5 files after some of these timeouts. They could have put in a bit more effort and write for their own site, which will be more than enough to pay for the hosting in the long run.
The one thing that InMotion does differently though – and this is a recent change – is that they put cPanel access directly on your account management dashboard. This means that you don’t have a separate login for billing/domains and your cPanel. They also place the one-click installer within your account dashboard.
